Station
Our current station is located at E1455 Deerton-Sand Lake Road. It houses all 2 trucks and all of our other equipment. It is a simple building that does not have a bathroom, training room, or work area. A long-range goal of the department is to relocate the station to M-28 to improve response times to incidents as well as responder safety.
Currently the department is seeking the support of our citizens for building a new, larger modernized fire station along M-28. Persons wishing to support this project are encouraged to attend board meetings or submit correspondence to the board indicating support. Please contact the department if you have any questions regarding the current station or the work going on for a new station.
